1. Microscan has formulated this acceptable use policy in order to encourage the responsible use of Microscan’s networks, systems, services, websites and products by our customers and other users, and to enable us to provide our Users with secure, reliable and productive services. This acceptable use policy (“Policy”) sets out:
    1. The minimum standards of behavior required from you when you use our network and the internet via our network;
    2. certain actions which are prohibited; and
    3. what we may do if you fail to meet those minimum standards.
    4. The Policy is designed to protect both you and Microscan from any claims from third parties that your use of the Microscan’s services is inappropriate or damaging to such third parties.

  2. General Conduct
    Microscan’s Network and Services must be used in a manner that is consistent with their intended purposes and may be used only for lawful purposes. Users may not use Microscan’s network & services

    1. in order to transmit, distribute or store material.
    2. in violation of any applicable law or regulation;
    3. in a manner that will infringe the copyright, trademark, trade secret or other intellectual property rights of others or the privacy, publicity or other personal rights of others;
    4. that is fraudulent, obscene, defamatory, libelous, threatening, abusive or hateful or contains a virus, worm, Trojan horse, or other harmful component;
    5. containing fraudulent offers for goods or services or any promotional materials that contain false, deceptive or misleading statements, claims or representations; or
    6. generally, in a manner that may expose Microscan or any of its personnel to criminal or civil liability.
  3. Lawful use (Fair Usage) of resources
    1. This acceptable use policy applies to all users of the services, irrespective of whether that user is the account holder or a third party.
    2. The subscriber against whom the connection is registered is solely responsible for all use of the Services and through the account holder’s account.
    3. You agree to take all reasonable steps to ensure that only those parties within your home and approved by you have access to the Services through your account. This includes ensuring the privacy and security of your account details. Please let us know as soon as possible if you know or suspect that your account is being used without your permission.
    4. You must not sell, rent or otherwise grant on a commercial basis, (or offer to sell, rent or grant on a commercial basis) any rights to use or otherwise enjoy the Services to any third parties.
