Microscan was established by Sandeep Donde, a first-generation entrepreneur. In 1996, we started our journey in Mumbai as a system integrator. In a span of 10 years, we evolved as the largest neutral player owning and building over 1000+ kms optic fiber infrastructure in Mumbai, Pune & other strategic locations in Maharashtra. We are a strong workforce of 400+ skilled professionals with expertise in Telecom infrastructure and services.

Our solutions span key customer segments ranging from; Home Broadband Users, Enterprise Customers & OTT providers, Service Providers, and many others. Our key products focused on these segments are: High-speed fiber-based broadband solutions, Internet Leased Lines, High-speed Inter-office data connectivity, Lit & Dark fiber solutions, and Infra management services among others.

Sandeep Donde

Founder & Managing Director

Mr. Donde founded Microscan in 1996 and manages it with highest leadership standards and progressive vision. After completing his graduation in Electronic Engineering, Mr. Donde started this company to lease premium dark fiber optic services. Because of his vision the organization has scaled up today to provide over 20 premium services in the IT & Telecom industry. Under his leadership, Microscan pioneered new heights to become a preferred service provider for many telecom companies like Tata, Airtel, Vodafone etc. He has been recognized for his excellence in this field and has earned various awards such as ‘Young Achievers Award’ in 2011, ‘Bharat Gaurav Award’ in 2011, ‘Leaders of Tomorrow’ Award in 2013 and ‘Maharashtra Business Excellence Award’ in 2016.

Chandrashekhar Mahant

Director - Operations

Mr. Mahant leads the technical operations of the organization with very high quality benchmarks. With in-depth knowledge of electrical designs and engineering. Mr. Mahant has developed deep insights of its’ applications in the IT & Telecom sector. Mr. Mahant’s meticulous implementation of high-quality operational management increases efficiency and effectiveness of the business. His contributions have helped the organization achieve new heights in project management and safety procedures.

Ismail Kazi

Chief Business Development Officer

Mr. Kazi has 30+ years of experience in pre-sales, project implementation, planning, operation and maintenance of various Telecom Networks. It involved core/access infra planning, network engineering and establishing the synergies to drive network augmentation in order to support business growth. In Microscan, he is instrumental in driving planning and implementation of overall network strategy and approach for faster execution and wining the business opportunities. He is supporting different business verticals in planning go to market & commercial closures.

Prashant Pradhan

Chief Technology Officer

Mr. Pradhan heads the Network & IT planning, product development and customer support. He has over 30 years of experience in the IT, Telecom & Networking domain and has been instrumental in developing Microscan’s business strategies for retail and enterprise customers.

Shailesh Parekh

Vice President - Finance & Accounts

A Chartered Accountant by profession Mr. Parekh has over 30 years of experience spearheading the financial strategy. Mr. Parekh provides leadership and coordination of company financial planning, debt financing, and budget management functions and ensures company accounting procedures and reporting that conform to accepted accounting norms.

Vijay Shah

Vice President - Legal

Mr. Shah heads and directs all legal and compliance related actions in the organization. He is instrumental in keeping the organization ethical and ensures that all laws are followed with due diligence. He directs all actions related to documentation, policy formulation and processes related to compliances. Due to his legal expertise the organization has been able to achieve excellence in fairness and ethics in all its functioning.

Rahul Jukar

Vice President - Business Process Re-Engineering

Mr. Jukar heads the Business Processes Re-engineering and System Integrations. He oversees organizational functioning with regards to project implementation and related processes. His rich experience of ERP implementations in the power generation and distribution sector has helped the organization to streamline the business processes based on global standards. His leadership has enabled the organization to progress to higher process maturity levels. He continually contributes to vital and important decisions related to the business strategy.

Yogesh Salian

Director- Video Services

Mr. Salian is an enterprising business & technology professional with over 19 years of experience in Telecom and Digital TV domain. His core area of expertise include strategic consulting, operational planning & business management in this domain. His role involves dealing with end-to-end stakeholders & leading various green-field projects. He has been associated with Microscan for over 3 years for providing managed video services & infrastructure.

Samson Jesudas

Business Head

Samson has 25+ years of prolific business experience and deep understanding of Satellite Pay TV industry & Cable TV Market. He is a thorough Business development professional and has made significant contributions in his previous assignments with renowned organizations in media & cable industry. Samson is instrumental in ISP penetration and creating market opportunities for expanding our presence in Mumbai and Rest of Maharashtra. He is driving our retail division of home broadband services, ensuring incremental revenue and market share.

Kalanand Prasad

Business Head – Operations & Sales- Retail (Pune Division)

Mr. Kalanand Prasad heads Microscan’s Retail Operations & Sales for the Pune Division. He has 21 years of visible accomplishments in leading projects for cost-effective operations while ensuring high-quality customer experience. His responsibility includes planning and implementing business strategy, optimizing resource utilization, reducing costs and vendor management. He has demonstrated excellent abilities in managing & motivating his team for project execution, resulting in high work performance and revenues for the organization.

Jayesh Kotak

Business Head - Sales & Business Development

Mr. Kotak’s rich experience of over 27 years in the technology field combined with business development experience is instrumental in driving the sales strategy of the organization. His responsibility includes spearheading and planning the marketing and sales initiatives of the organization with relation to fiber and internet infrastructure to service providers & enterprise customers. Mr. Kotak’s unique approach has helped Microscan to setup new alliances with various cloud service providers & solution partners.

Clifford D’Souza

Assistant General Manager - IT

Mr. D’Souza’s leadership of managing the IT team and strategies expands over 18 years of experience. He excels in client/server administration as well as networking and data storage. He leads his team from the front to ensure high availability of C-TEN, 10 Gbps MPLS network, which is the heart of MIPL.

IP-1 Registration

Microscan is registered as an Infrastructure Provider (category – 1) with the Government of India, Ministry of Communications & IT , to establish and maintain assets such as dark fibers, right of way, duct space and relay tower, and underground data/voice carrier networks.

ISP license

Microscan has been granted the ISP license by the Government of India, Ministry of Communications & IT. Under these licenses, MIPL offers internet services in Mumbai as well as Maharashtra & Goa circles.

NLD license

Microscan has been granted the NLD license by the Government of India, Ministry of Communications & IT. Under this license MCPL offers e-Line, Ethernet Virtual Private Line (EVPL), and Ethernet Private LAN (E-LAN), with the support for Layer 2 point-to-point, point-to-multipoint and multipoint-to-multipoint topologies and MPLS VPN services.

VNO license

Our subsidiary brand Vovinet owns Class A VNO ISP license. This enables us to offer internet services to our enterprise customers PAN India.
